Most jobs start within two weeks. Our shop is in Waterloo, so the bulk of our work is right here. May and June fill up fast for exteriors, so book those early. Cabinets fit in most easily from December to February, since the booth runs through the winter and we can often start inside a week.

Yes. Doors and drawers come out of the house and are sprayed in our booth off Northfield Drive, so they stay out of your way. Only the cabinet boxes get sprayed in your kitchen, with the room masked floor to ceiling and an air scrubber on. Once the doors are rehung, normal light use is fine. Hold off on scrubbing for roughly three weeks while the finish cures.

Yes, you can live at home for the entire job. Most main floors take 4–7 days, depending on how much prep is needed. Furniture goes to the centre of each room under plastic, canvas covers the floors, and we leave the house cleaner than we found it each day. Please keep pets out of whichever rooms we're working in.

Yes. Many Uptown homes still have original trim, and we repair it before painting. If something unexpected turns up, such as soft wood or a crack that keeps returning, we pause and show you before doing any work that would change the price.

We email your written quote within 24 hours of the visit. It spells out every surface, the prep, the number of coats and the product, so you can set it beside any other quote and check it line by line. It's written by whoever measured your job: Marcus, or Jordan, our estimator.

Choose your colours first, since switching one partway through means an extra coat and an extra day. Take down pictures, mirrors and breakables; we'll handle the furniture. For cabinet work, clear out the drawers and the shelves behind any doors we're removing. On exterior spray days, please move your cars off the driveway.

On the final day we tour each room with you, blue tape in hand, and fix every spot you mark before leaving. You keep leftover paint labelled by room plus a small touch-up kit. Jordan calls a month later, and we're 10 minutes away. Warranties are written: 10 years on cabinets, 4 on interiors, 6 on exteriors, and they transfer if you sell.
