How a Cambridge job runs
From a one-minute ballpark to the blue-tape walkthrough, here's what happens and who you'll deal with at each step.
Get a ballpark online
Answer a few questions in our Instant Quote and get a rough price in about a minute. No visit needed. Want a firm number? We text or call back the same day to book a visit.
A visit and a written quote
Marcus or Jordan walks every room or side of the house with you, measures and checks what needs repair. Your quote arrives by email within 24 hours, itemised surface by surface.
You say yes and get readyYou approve
Once you approve, settle your colours: a change halfway means another coat and another day. Take down pictures and mirrors, keep pets out of our rooms, and leave the furniture to us.
Protect, prep, paint
Canvas goes on the floors, furniture to the middle under plastic, and everything else is taped and papered. Cabinet doors go to our spray booth, so your kitchen never fills with dust.
A photo every evening
Your crew lead texts a photo each evening of where we got to and what's tomorrow. If we find soft wood or a crack that keeps coming back, we show you before anything changes the price.
Blue-tape walkthroughYou approve
On the last day you walk every room with us and a roll of blue tape. We fix what you mark before we leave, rehang doors and hardware, vacuum, and hand over labelled leftover paint.
One crew lead, one text thread
Your crew lead texts you directly, so you're never chasing an office. The office line, (226) 400-7198, is open weekdays 7:30 to 5:30 and Saturdays 9 to 2.

What Cambridge homeowners ask before booking
How do you schedule jobs in Cambridge?
We book Cambridge work in blocks. The crew that starts your job stays on it every day until it's done, instead of splitting its week between towns. We've painted cabinets in Hespeler, exteriors in West Galt and a few storefronts downtown.
Who will I actually deal with?
Marcus or Jordan, our estimator, comes to your estimate and writes your quote. On site you get one crew from the first day to the last: Maya Chen's crew does most interiors and cabinets, Luis Ortega's does exteriors and decks. Your crew lead texts you directly.
Can I use my kitchen while my cabinets are being done?
Yes. The doors and drawers go to our spray booth off Northfield Drive, so they're out of your way. We spray the boxes in place with the room masked floor to ceiling and an air scrubber running. Light use is fine once the doors are back; no scrubbing for about three weeks while the finish cures.
Can we stay home while you paint inside?
Yes, people stay home the whole time. A main floor usually takes 4–7 days depending on prep. Keep pets out of the rooms we're in so nobody walks through wet paint, and take pictures and mirrors down; we move the furniture ourselves.
How long does an exterior take?
Most houses take 3–6 working days, but the weather decides the calendar, so we won't promise a finish date. We're booking May and June now. On spray days, please move cars out of the driveway, because overspray travels further than people think.
What warranty do I get?
It's in writing: 10 years on cabinets, 4 years on interiors and 6 years on exteriors, and it transfers if you sell the house. Jordan also calls a month after we finish to see how it's holding up.
When's the best time to book cabinets?
December to February. The booth runs all winter, and in those months we can usually start within a week.
Will you tell me if I only need the smaller job?
Yes. We tell you the truth about what your walls or cabinets need, even when it's the smaller job. Your quote lists every surface, the prep and the coats, so you can see exactly what you're paying for.
