Marcus Aldridge started Ridgeline in 2018 after six years on commercial jobs in Toronto. He brought the clean, organised way of working home to Waterloo.

From hospital corridors to Waterloo kitchens

Marcus Aldridge spent six years with a big commercial painting company in Toronto: hospitals, office towers, condo lobbies. That's where he learned to run a clean, organised job. It's also where he saw how often homeowners got rushed work. In 2018 he moved back to Waterloo and started Ridgeline with one van and a spray rig. Cabinets took off quickly, so in 2021 we built our own spray booth in a unit off Northfield Drive. Your cabinet doors and drawers leave the house and get sprayed there, so your kitchen never fills with spray dust. Today Marcus or Jordan, our estimator, comes to every estimate, and whoever measures your job writes your quote. Maya Chen's crew does most of our interiors and cabinets; Luis Ortega's crew does exteriors and decks. You get one crew from the first day to the last, and your crew lead texts you directly.
