Floors get canvas drop cloths, not plastic, so stairs don't get slick and paint isn't tracked around. Furniture sits mid-room under plastic, and whatever we aren't painting gets taped and papered.

Absolutely, you can live at home throughout. Expect roughly 4–7 days for a main floor, depending on how much prep it needs. Furniture gets pulled to the centre of each room and covered in plastic, and canvas drop cloths protect the floors. All we ask is that pets stay out of the rooms we're working in.
How do I keep track of progress from day to day?
You text directly with your crew lead. Each evening they send a photo showing how far we got and what's planned for tomorrow, so you know who's arriving next morning and at what time. Any change gets flagged the night before.
What happens if you uncover a problem mid-job?
We pause and point it out. Say we find rotted wood behind a gutter or a crack that keeps reopening: nothing that affects the price moves forward until you've looked at it and agreed.
How can I compare your quote against other painters?
Within 24 hours of the visit, a written quote lands in your inbox. It spells out each surface, the prep work, how many coats and which product, so you can set it beside any other bid and check it line by line.
What happens on the final day of the job?
Together we go through each room with blue painter's tape, and anything you flag gets fixed before we pack up. We leave the extra paint labelled by room and colour, along with a touch-up kit. A month on, Jordan phones to check in. Your warranty comes in writing and transfers if you sell: 10 years on cabinets, 4 on interiors and 6 on exteriors.
